On June 12-13, 2025, the Forum of European University Alliances took place in Wrocław - one of the key events organized under the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The BAUHAUS4EU Alliance is represented by dr Marcin Baron, who is participating in the discussions as a delegate of our consortium.
Each European University Alliance delegated two representatives to the event. In the case of BAUHAUS4EU, due to the parallel involvement of partners in events in Portugal, representation was ensured by dr Marcin Baron. His participation reflects BAUHAUS4EU’s commitment to joint efforts toward transforming European higher education.
This year’s forum addresses topics including:
- the transformative impact of European University Alliances on higher education;
- the “Union of Skills” initiative, including joint curricula and recognition of qualifications;
- long-term funding of alliances, taking into account synergies between national and EU funds;
- cooperation with external stakeholders - businesses, local governments, and civil society organizations;
- the development of the European Degree and joint study programs;
- active student engagement in shaping the future of the alliances;
- the potential of joint research projects and innovative initiatives.
For BAUHAUS4EU, participation in the Forum is not only an opportunity to exchange experiences but also to strengthen cooperation networks, articulate shared values, and work together toward modern, sustainable, and inclusive higher education in Europe.
