The official BAUHAUS4EU website is now available! It serves as the main source of information about the activities of the consortium of ten European universities, in which the University of Economics in Katowice has participated since 2024.
The website features, among others, news updates, an event calendar, presentations of partner universities, descriptions of projects and work packages, as well as details on joint educational and research initiatives.
BAUHAUS4EU is a prestigious alliance within the European Universities initiative. Its full name – A European University for Resilient, Sustainable, Inclusive and Beautiful Regions – refers to the vision of the New European Bauhaus, combining aesthetics, sustainability, and inclusiveness. The University of Economics in Katowice joined the alliance as a result of several years of effort, crowned with success in 2024. Thanks to this, our University has become part of an elite group of European academic partners, gaining access to additional funding, joint study programmes, international exchange, and projects strengthening the role of universities in the region.
As the University authorities emphasise, this is not only a matter of prestige but also a tremendous opportunity for scientific and educational development, international cooperation, and for reinforcing Katowice’s position on the academic map of Europe.
