The aim of the conference was to exchange views represented by national and international research centers, dealing with issues of finance. Conference provided opportunity to a substantive discussion on the most significant, current problems of modern finance, including the identification of the various risks and proposed solutions in this fields.

We have received papers in the following areas:

• QUANTITATIVE METHODS IN FINANCE

We also offered an opportunity to combine conference with participation in the International Week New Frontiers in Finance and Accounting organized by the Faculty of Finance and Insurance at the University of Economics in Katowice within the framework of Erasmus+ Teaching Staff Mobility from 20th to 24th October 2014.
