Finance and Accounting for Business
General information:
As a student of Master Studies Finance and Accounting for Business (FAB) you have the possibility to go abroad for 1 semester (3rd semester of studies) and obtain a double diploma of the University of Economics in Katowice and our partner universities:
- Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft Ludwigshafen, Germany (5 places available for the mobility),
- University Clermont Auvergne, France (5 places available for the mobility).
Requirements for the Erasmus+ Programme:
- average grade minimum 4.0 from all closed semesters until the recruitment (the final qualification grade average to receive the scholarship will be announced on the time of the current recruitment)
- English skills on B2 level (CEFR)
- submitting online Erasmus+ application within the deadline available under the following link (Current recruitment)
- recommendation of the Program Director and the International Relations Office
Qualification for the Erasmus+ Programme:
- check the information on the following website
- apply online within the deadline
- wait for the email from the International Relations Office whether you have received the qualification for the Erasmus+ Programme
- confirm the assigned university
- consult the Vice-Dean dr Krystyna Mitręga-Niestrój regarding your Learning Agreement

Students are obliged to take 4 obligatory subjects and add additional elective subjects in order to receive in total minimum 30 ECTS.
Obligatory subjects:

- Business Communication MFI333
- Intercultural Competence MFI341
- Strategic Consulting MFI331
Electives- sent by the receiving university (please remember not to choose any subject equivalent to your other obligatory courses as scheduled in the DDMP Agreement)
Students with the citizenship outside the European Union need to send to the receiving university till 30 April the residence permit for the purpose of study of the first EU Member State (country of home university).
B. University Clermont Auvergne

Students are obliged to take 5 obligatory subjects and add additional elective subjects in order to receive in total minimum 30 ECTS.

- Governance and social Responsibility in Microfinance Institutions,
- Business Management,
- Competitive Intelligence and Political Risk Analysis,
- Financial Auditing and Compliance,
- Audit Financial Games
Electives- sent by the receiving university (please rememebr not to choose any subject equivalent to your other obligatory courses as scheduled in the DDMP Agreement)
