Participation details

Each participant in the conference has the option to actively or passively engage in the event.

Passive participation

As a listener, it allows you to become acquainted with the supplied presentations. The application period for listeners: May 8, 2023. This type of participation qualifies you to obtain a passive participation certificate and allows you to participate in seminars that are organized as a part of the Conference.

Active participation

Participation in the conference can take one of three forms: presentation, poster, or both.

Presentation

Deadline for submitting a presentation application with an abstract: April 23, 2023.
Deadline for submitting the final version of the presentation*: May 15, 2023.
* We encourage you to send your presentation (to the address: konference.trojstyk@uekat.pl) to avoid technical problems. Submitting a presentation is not required.

  • The topic of the presentation should reflect the Conference's theme.
  • The presentation can be prepared using both empirical and review research.
  • The presentation should be accompanied by a digital slideshow.
  • The presentation should last 20 minutes, of which 5 are devoted to discussion and questioning.
  • There can be a maximum of three authors to each poster.

Poster

Deadline for submitting a poster application with an abstract: April 23, 2023.

Deadline for submitting posters: May 7, 2023.

  • The topic of the poster should reflect the Conference's theme.
  • The poster can be prepared using both empirical and review research.
  • Poster authors can take part in the competition for the best poster (more on this subject in the competition tab).
  • During the poster session, poster authors will have the opportunity to present their poster.

Technical requirements for the poster:

  • the poster should be prepared in A1 format (420×594 mm);
  • preferred orientation of the poster – horizontal;
  • minimum margins from the edge of the poster equal to 20 mm;
  • the poster should use a Calibri font only;
  • individual substantive parts should be titled in the form of 1-row headings with a size of 30 points (bold), numbered with consecutive Arabic numerals;
  • the basic text of the poster should be prepared in a size of at least 20 points;
  • captions under figures and tables according to the standard of scientific studies.

The poster should contain in particular:

  • title (font size above 30 points, in bold) – clearly distinguishable from other elements of the poster;
  • names, surnames, and professional or academic titles of the authors, along with affiliations;
  • detailing the headings of the individual sections of the presented study;
  • bibliography: minimum font size of 15 points.
