Tasks

Careers Service and Alumni Relations (CKWA for short in Polish) is an organizational unit of the University of Economics in Katowice acting for the professional activation of students and graduates of our University, and creating lasting forms of cooperation between our University and graduates and labor market institutions. CKWA reports organizationally to the Vice-Rector for Development and Cooperation with External Environment, dr hab. Robert Wolny, prof. UE.

Our tasks:

  1. Obtaining and disseminating recruitment offers;
  2. Organizing and co-organizing educational and consulting initiatives aimed at supporting professional development and professional activation of students and graduates of our University;
  3. Obtaining and disseminating information to students and graduates of our University about workshops, training courses and postgraduate studies and other forms of professional qualifications;
  4. Building and maintaining relationships with our graduates through regular communication (website, newsletter, social networks), organizing events, as well as developing, coordinating and operating the loyalty program System of Privileges for Alumni (SPA for short in Polish);
  5. Monitoring the careers and career fates of our graduates through available tools, including but not limited to the Institute of Media Monitoring Bulletin (IMM), the Polish Graduate Tracking System (ELA);
  6. Researching the professional fate of our graduates;
  7. Establishing and implementing cooperation with companies and institutions based on contracts/agreements;
  8. Cooperating with the "COLLEGIUM" Association of Graduates of the University of Economics in Katowice.
