In the summer semester of the academic year 2022/2023, our University will welcome 32 new international students. The new students will join more than 140 short- and long-term students from more than 30 countries who came to UE Katowice in the winter semester. Traditionally, Welcome Point, in partnership with the International Relations Office, organizes an Integration Week for them.
During their first days in Poland, our new students will have the opportunity to get to know the region, the city and the University of Economics in Katowice.
A number of meetings and attractions are planned as part of the program, including: Polish language workshops, city tours, integration games and an ice-skating trip. Individual events will be held at various locations within the University and Katowice. Students will visit Spodek and the Silesian Museum, among others.
On the last day, there will be a Global Village - a meeting of Polish and foreign students, during which they will be able to taste traditional foods, drinks and learn about the culture of other countries. We cordially invite all foreign students, both long-term and short-term, to participate in this event.
The event, which will take place from February 13-17 th, is implemented with the active involvement of Polish students "Uni Buddies" supporting the organization of events at Welcome Point and taking care of their peers from different countries during their studies in Poland. We invite you to follow up-to-date stories of the Integration Week on Welcome Point's Instagram.
