Young International Academic Conference

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the first edition of the Young International Academic Conference Energy Justice & the Energy Transition, organized under the patronage of the 3rd International Academic Conference ‘Energy Justice & the Energy Transition’
The energy transition is one of the greatest challenges of our time, affecting every aspect of our lives – from the natural environment and the economy to society as a whole. But how does this process look from the perspective of young people who are just beginning their academic and professional paths? What ideas do they have for a just transition, and how do they envision the role of law and innovation in this process?
The Young International Academic Conference. is a unique platform designed for students, members of academic circles, and young researchers from across Poland who want to explore the challenges of the energy transition together. We emphasize fresh perspectives – innovative, creative, and often unconventional.
The conference aims to create a space for scientific development for young researchers, offering them a platform to present research results, gain academic experience, and improve their public speaking skills. The event will also provide an opportunity to build international academic connections and exchange ideas with peers from different countries. An important element of the conference is the opportunity to engage in dialogue with leading experts in energy law, enabling young participants to combine a theoretical perspective with the practical challenges of the energy transition.
During the conference, we will examine the challenges of the energy transition through the lenses of social justice, legal regulations, technological development, and local initiatives. As the first initiative of its kind, this conference aims to create a space for exchanging experiences, ideas, and proposals between young researchers, practitioners, and transformation leaders. It is a forum where theory meets practice, and the enthusiasm of the younger generation blends with the realities of the modern world.
We invite you to join this unique debate and make your voice heard in shaping the energy future of Poland and the world!
The conference is organized by the Energy Transformation Scientific Circle and the Department of Energy Transformation of the University of Economics in Katowice.
