The project also enabled our University's employees to improve their competencies. The following training courses were held in 2023:

1. Legalization of stay for international students and academics.
2. Student in a mental health crisis

The meetings were organized by a professional company and attended by administrative and academic staff.

Meanwhile, in December 2024, the staff of the Internationalization Office had the unusual opportunity to meet with Marije Bedaux from Leiden University, who shared her experience in psychological support for students and employees. Marije Bedaux is a professional trainer and confidential counselor who has worked at Leiden University for years. Her knowledge, insights and examples of good practice were extremely valuable and will undoubtedly improve the quality of service to international students at our University.
