URBAN DYNAMICS IN INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH: FROM DIAGNOSIS TO VISION

University of Economics in Katowice, Katowice, May 25-26, 2026

Conference "Cities of the future - the future in the city" is a continuation and development of two long-standing scientific conferences devoted to urban issues: "Small Towns – Space, Society, Economy" organized at the University of Economics in Katowice and the University of Lodz and the conference "Cities of the 21st Century" conducted at the University of Opole. For many years, both conferences brought together researchers from various centers and scientific disciplines, making these events an excellent venue for exchanging experiences, views, and sharing research results.

The event is organized by Department of Spatial and Environmental Management, Faculty of Spatial Management and Regional Transformation, University of Economics in Katowice, in cooperation with domestic and foreign partners.
