Rules and Regulations for granting and distributing doctoral scholarships to students of the Doctoral School at the University of Economics in Katowice

Pursuant to Art. 209 of the Law on Higher Education and Science, a doctoral student who does not hold a doctoral degree is entitled to receive a doctoral scholarship.
The total period of receiving a doctoral scholarship in doctoral schools may not exceed four years.


Information on Submitting Applications for Increased Scholarship in the 2026/2027 Academic Year

Applications, along with the required set of documents, must be submitted in person after scheduling an appointment at the Doctoral School Office within the period from October 2 to October 15, 2026, on the following days:

Tuesday to Friday, between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM

 Please ensure the following:

  • The application form is printed double-sided
  • Attachments are organized and numbered in the same order and description as listed in the application
  • ISSN, e-ISSN, ISBN, and e-ISBN numbers are provided both in the attachments and in the application form
  • A statement regarding publications is included
