Strengthening the University’s and the Alliance’s position in the international education market
The planned task aims to strengthen our University's and the Alliance's position in the international education market. Finding optimal solutions that will enable UEKat and the entire Alliance to build a strong position in the competitive higher education environment is possible only through a thorough analysis of the environment.
The implementation of the task has been planned in two stages:
1.Participation in a key international conference on higher education internationalisation – EAIE (European Association for International Education).
Participation in this prestigious event will provide access to up-to-date knowledge about global trends in internationalization and create opportunities to establish strategic partnerships – both within Europe and beyond.
Participation in the event enables not only promoting the institution’s offer but also meeting many current and potential partners in one place, significantly reducing the need for separate international trips and related costs. Contacts with non-European partners are particularly valuable, as they would otherwise require far greater resources.
2. Participation in international education fairs for prospective students.
In connection with the planned launch of joint courses and study programs within the Alliance, there has arisen a need to identify new recruitment markets. The aim is to identify those geographical areas that can serve as realistic sources of incoming students.
Based on an analysis of current trends and recommendations from institutions such as NAWA and the Perspektywy Educational Foundation, the most promising directions have been identified in selected Asian countries, including Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and China.
All planned activities will contribute to achieving the following objectives:
- strengthening cooperation between BAUHAUS4EU member institutions, identifying new recruitment markets in the context of implementing joint study programs,
- increasing the recognition of UEKat and the BAUHAUS4EU Alliance internationally,
- promoting the Alliance’s educational offer and initiatives among partners in and beyond Europe,
- establishing new institutional contacts and developing academic cooperation,
- identifying new recruitment markets and adjusting promotional activities to candidate preferences, acquiring strategic knowledge about trends in internationalization, future competencies, and directions of higher education development,
- increasing staff mobility and engagement in international activities,
- professionalizing promotional and recruitment activities through participation in global-scale events.
