The Department of Energy Transition at the University of Economics in Katowice (Professor Marzena Czarnecka and Dr Marcin Kraśniewski), in collaboration with the University of Pavia (Professor Katarzyna Gromek-Broc), are delighted to announce the 2nd Polish–Italian Intensive School on Energy Transition.

This unique academic initiative brings together students from both universities who share a keen interest in the legal, economic, regulatory and policy challenges of the energy transition. Through expert lectures, interactive workshops, case studies and international networking opportunities, participants will explore some of the most pressing issues shaping the future of sustainable energy in Europe.

The Katowice Edition 2026 will take place from 23 to 25 October 2026 and will provide an inspiring forum for academic discussion, intercultural exchange and professional development in one of Europe's leading regions undergoing energy transformation.

The Polish–Italian Intensive School is conceived as a long-term academic partnership between our universities:
