Eduroam enables students and employees of universities and academic institutions involved in a project to access an authorized – and thus secure and controlled – network access without contacting local administrators. The user will gain access in each institution using their own settings from the home institution, without having to reconfigure the network connection. Access at any location is authorized and logged in; any abuse can be linked later to a specific person.
