1. Unauthorized changes to the data in the user database (for fields "In real life" and "Office") are prohibited. It is undesirable to allow services that may create a potential risk to account security (e.g. irc tunnels, sniffers) without the knowledge and consent of the administrator.
2. The accounts are purely private and may not be used for commercial purposes (e.g. sending advertisements, using them as company accounts, etc.). The user is liable for the data stored in the account.
3. Any use of the account to conduct activities that violate the integrity of any computer system is prohibited. The prohibition includes attempts to scan the security of these systems. If the said fact is discovered, the administrator may transfer the personal data of the account owner to the administrator of the attacked machine and inform the relevant authorities (public prosecutor's office, university authorities, employer).
4. It is prohibited to conduct activities that are unethical, inconsistent with the netiquette, directed against other users of the network of the University of Economics in Katowice or users of any other system. This prohibition includes attempts to overload the system, prevent others from using the network, flooding, spamming, mailbombing, as well as any interference in the operating of the systems without the knowledge and consent of the administrator.
5. Distribution of illegal material or material encouraging to violate the law is prohibited. In the event of a violation of the prohibition, the administrator reserves the right to notify the competent authorities.
6. It is prohibited to delete/link files with command history to /dev/null.
7. Installing the software in directories that do not belong to the structure of the user's home directory ($HOME) is prohibited.
8. Accounts that are not used for more than a year and a half will be deleted without notifying their owner.
9. Accounts used to send spam ( intentionally or unintentionally) will be blocked for investigation.

Violation of these rules and regulations will be punished by blocking or deleting the account.
