About the project
The aim of the "SustainableLogistics4Climate" project is to present our University students with the opportunity to participate in a major international event on sustainable supply chain management. Participation in the event, designed as a competition, raises students' internationalization level, as well as their skills related to teamwork, data analysis and project management, and raises awareness of the challenges of climate change. This competition has been organized for many years by Odisee University of Applied Sciences in Brussels.
During the project week, students in international teams compete by solving a complex case study. The finished solution and designed suggestions for improvements in the studied supply chain are presented on the final day.
The project is coordinated by dr Anna Urbanek.
The project is part of the "ECOnomics4Climate" cluster, which is being implemented by dr hab. Monika Wieczorek-Kosmala, prof. UE., with support from Internationalization.
The project "SustainableLogistics4Climate" has been co-financed by the Metropolis GZM within the framework of the "Metropolitan Science and Education Support Fund" program for the years 2022-2024 in the amount of PLN 27,913.00.
Project implementation period: February – November 2023.
