European BAUHAUS Courses: Last match-making session!
BAUHAUS4EU has been organizing online matchmaking sessions where academics from the alliance can present and discuss proposals and find partners to develop European BAUHAUS Courses (EBCs). EBCs are innovative and interdisciplinary courses developed in collaboration with European partners, aligned with the values of sustainability, inclusion, and aesthetics. They can take the form of BIPs, COILs, or hackathons. The last online inter-university match-making event will take place on May 18 at 2 p.m. (CET). Find out how to join here!
The 4th episode of BAUHAUS4EU Podcast is live: Student Engagement in Action!
Recorded at the Université Lumière Lyon 2, this episode explores the many facets of student engagement across campuses. Hosted by Kiyomasa Kumagai, student vice-president of the university, with guests Madeline and Babette, the discussion highlights the role of student associations, the BAUHAUS4EU Photography Contest and the Student-Led Courses initiative. Erasmus+ BIP “The Theatre and the City” at University of Bergamo
The University of Bergamo, together with its European alliance partners Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, Université Lumière Lyon 2, and Université de Picardie Jules Verne, hosted a BIP for students, featuring research seminars, workshops, and guided visits to key performing arts sites in Bergamo and Milan. The Erasmus+ BIP programme “The Theatre and the City” took place in Bergamo in person from March 30 to April 3 and online from April 20 to 21. Learn more here!
BTH lauches BAUHAUS4EU Hybrid Learning Lab
On April 8, the Blekinge Institute of Technology invited students and staff to the inauguration of the BAUHAUS4EU Hybrid Learning Lab. The event marked an important step in strengthening innovative, inclusive and cross-border learning within the Alliance. During the ceremony, participants were introduced to the Teleporter system — an advanced audiovisual classroom solution designed to connect physical and digital learning environments in a seamless way. ULL2 held Second Regional Workshop
The Université Lumière Lyon 2 brought together colleagues and regional partners for an afternoon focused on open BAUHAUS4EU calls, brainstorming academic-civil society connections, future microcredentials for regional agents, and next steps for the University's Regional Council. Overall, this bi-annual event emphasized strong potential for deepened collaboration and paved the way for impactful, challenge-based learning formats rooted in the BAUHAUS4EU Alliance's regional ecosystems.
