Students are asked to think about a challenge facing the world today and submit a 2 minute video that describes the following business case:
Propose a Smarter Planet idea or solution. Look around you – what
problems do you see? What would you like to solve?
- Describe the problem you chose.
- What data do you need and how would you collect and analyze it?
- Who needs to be involved and how would you persuade them?
- What emerging trends, issues or opportunities in business and society influenced your choice?
- Why do you want to solve this problem?
- What evidence do you have to make you think we can solve it?
- Describe potential costs, risks and market demand for the solution.
As a result of submitting this video, students will receive a special logo T-shirt, and they will be invited to view and apply for university and internship positions. Students begin their participation at the following link.
