W dniach 17-19 września 2015 roku w Warszawie odbyła się 2nd Academy on International Business - Central and Eastern Europe Chapter Conference pod hasłem: "International Business and Research in the CEE Region. Why is it worth doing?".
Pracownicy Katedry zaprezentowali następujące referaty:
- prof. UE dr hab. Maja Szymura-Tyc: "Relationships between innovation extensiveness, innovation cooperation and new products'. Research outcomes for Polish manufacturing firms" (referat napisany we współautorstwie z dr Małgorzatą Lewandowską, prof. dr. hab. Tomaszem Gołębiowskim i prof. dr hab. Małgorzatą Rószkiewicz)
- dr Danuta Babińska: "Developing students' knowledge, skills and social competences in international marketing research - cooperation of academia and business" (referat napisany we współautorstwie z dr. Olgierdem Witczakiem)
- mgr Magdalena Grochal-Brejdak: "Methodology of research on internationalisation process of e-commerce enterprises"
Prof. UE dr hab. Maja Szymura-Tyc była również członkiem panelu dyskusyjnego nt. "The importance of network relationships for SMEs' international development".
The Academy of International Business jest organizacją globalną skupiającą badaczy zajmujących się tematyką biznesu i polityki międzynarodowej, działającą od 1959 roku. The Central and Eastern Europe Chapter of Academy of International Business jest najmłodszą kapitułą AIB powołaną w 2013 roku. AIB-CEE obejmuje swym zakresem 19 krajów z Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej.
