W dniach 8-10 grudnia 2011 roku w Bukareszcie odbyła się coroczna konferencja European International Business Academy (EIBA), pod hasłem: "Taking International Business to the Next Level - Emerging Issues, Strategies and Economies". Prof. Mario Glowik na niej dwa referaty - samodzielny, pt. "Competitive leadership through network positioning" oraz we współpracy z Prof. dr hab. Sławomirem Smyczkiem pt. "Post-crisis consumer trust to e-finance in the CEE markets".
