Dear colleagues,
For 15 years, we have been organising the Europe Week, which many of you have attended. To better reflect the diverse partnerships of the Business School worldwide, we have decided to rename this event to International Week.
We cordially invite you to participate in the next International Week, which will take place from May 5 to 9, 2025 in Saarbruecken (Germany).
This event is targeted at teaching staff from partner universities who would like to share best teaching practices and learn more about us, as well as promoting their institutions to our students. It will also be a great opportunity to develop future projects and ideas together.
The next edition will cover the following activities:
- teaching (4 contact hours; 1 contact hour = 45 min; lectures, seminars, case studies, projects or a combination of them are welcome),
- participating in a workshop dedicated to AI-empowered teaching & learning (3 contact hours including discussions and sharing experiences, May 6, 2025),
- promoting your university to our students during our Study Abroad Fair (2 contact hours on May 6, 2025).
Teaching topics across the whole spectrum of our Business School are welcome. The list of topics is available at www.htwsaar.de/internationalweek.
The combined teaching and training mobility is in line with the funding requirements within the ERASMUS-KA131 programme. Please consult with your ERASMUS coordinator whether you might be eligible for funding. Unfortunately, we will not be able to host colleagues for pure ERASMUS training sessions without any teaching.

Registration ends on February 16, 2025.
We cover the costs for lunch from Monday to Friday at the university and for official dinners. You are also welcome to participate in our Social Programme free of charge. All other costs, such as travel and accommodation, are to be covered by the guests themselves. Colleagues from our global partner network outside the ERASMUS programme are encouraged to apply for funding at their home university.
